We manufacture moulding and we would like to print a label for each line item. Quantities are entered in linear feet which are seen (from what we can tell) as one part for each foot. When we try to print labels for each "item" we get one for each foot:) Ideally, we would have one label that is applied to 2000 LF of crown moulding package with the line item barcode. The operator could then scan this bar code to show that item as complete. Are we missing a setting?
Combining Text for Reports

We are trying to concatenate two text strings and present that in one field on report.
Example text(2 x 10 x ) + text(variable indicating the length) = 2 x 10 x 16
This is helpful where we are using logic to make decisions and create the item we need. In the case above we use one value to determine the dimension and another the length. Then we want to combine them into the board needed.
Is there a way to do this that will yield the combination of the two text strings.
